Measuring and checking, torque measurement

Test bench structure with a magnetic powder brake to take up characteristics and performance data and integrated torque measurement for the characteristic measurement of motors, gears, pumps, fans etc.

This system approved itself by its compact design at high torques and low  exciting performance. It is used successfully in the training area, for serial manufacturing and product control.

The torque can be controlled and regulated via a large speed range.

For its use the model range in the area from 5-200 Nm can be expanded by a large number of periphery techniques.

for the load measurement in the test bench

to measure and check the performance and torque

The magnetic powder brake achieves at low gate power a high torque which is independent from the slip speed.

The characteristic of the magnetic powder brake is a great advantage for the control engineering.

The torque to be transferred and the exciting current behave t to each other in about proportionally.

 +
In case of a fixed exciting current, the torque is independent from the slip speed.

When switching on, the torque builds up itself time-delayed. DC switching results in shorter switching times than switching on the mains side.
